Roofing Warranty: The Different Levels of Roofing Protection

Getting new roofing for your home is a big investment, and that’s why it’s important that you look at the warranty that comes with it. Understanding what the warranty covers on your roof gives you peace of mind, but not all warranties are made equal.

Tittle Brothers Construction explains the different levels of roofing warranty.

Comparing Warranties

As an Owens Corning™ Platinum Contractor, we offer you two levels of roofing warranty when you install a new or replacement roof for your home. The System Protection Roofing Limited Warranty is the basic coverage, which covers your roof with Tru PROtection® for a non-prorated period of 15 to 50 years. Material defects along with labor to repair are covered and the warranty itself can be transferred once.

The Platinum Protection Roofing System is the second one, which is the highest warranty available in the roofing industry. Just like the basic warranty, this covers you for a period of 15 to 50 years and has an additional workmanship coverage that ranges from 20 years to a lifetime.

Why is Warranty So Important?

Your new roof is a big investment and the warranty that comes with it is a guarantee that it’s protected from things that you (or we) have no control over. It gives you the peace of mind that throughout your roof’s entire life, it’s well protected and insured.

The Owens Corning™ Difference

When it comes to roofing warranty, Owens Corning is the top of the line. The Platinum Warranty doesn’t just protect your roof from material defects it also has workmanship coverage as part of its limited lifetime warranty. We’re proud to say that we do every roofing job right the first time around, and this warranty is just another guarantee that your roof is well protected no matter what happens.
