Tittle Brothers Construction, with offices in Southgate and Lincoln Park was recently named the 2014 President’s Club Award winner from GAF.
The designation is given for consideration of work completed in the previous calendar year.
The award is the top prize given only to the “elite of the elite” of roofing contractors in the country.
GAF is the largest roofing material supplier in North America.
The award is only open to contractors who have been certified as “Master Elite” by the supplier, a designation that less than two percent of contractors nationwide manage to achieve.
In order to qualify for consideration a contractor must demonstrate an exceptional level of excellence in their business. That includes with installation, consumer protection and employee training.
According to a release from GAF, one of the biggest concerns for a potential customer comes when needed a roof repair, not a full replacement.

“Customers often worry that their roofs are damaged beyond repair and require complete replacement,” the release said. “In many cases, though, Tittle Brothers Construction is able to restore a roof’s integrity and extend its service life.”
In the event of sudden and catastrophic roof damage due to severe weather, the company’s rapid-response team can seal the damage, make emergency repairs, and minimize or mitigate water intrusion, according to the GAF award notification.
“When the weather calms, Tittle Brothers returns to the scene to make a full assessment of the roof’s condition and recommend additional repairs,” The award notification said. “The company also works with the homeowner’s insurance company to make the process as stress-free as possible.”
